Looking Back In Time
In late April, with the help of our facilities staff, GPRC Grande Prairie opened a wall in the Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre Concourse that held the 25th Anniversary Time Capsule. The Time Capsule was a fundraising project in 1992 that allowed College staff, faculty and Peace Country residents to send letters to the future to be unveiled in GPRC’s 50th year. On its official opening on May 5, the College was delighted to find a number of letters, a VHS tape from the 1992 event, as well as College newspapers, old Wolves jerseys and many other special treasures.
You can find more about the 25th Anniversary Time Capsule here, and see photos here.
