Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (CRM08)
Description
Applied Suicide Intervention Skills Training (ASIST) is a two-day accredited interactive workshop in suicide first aid. ASIST teaches you to recognize when someone may have thoughts of suicide, and how to work with them to create a plan that will support their immediate safety. Although ASIST is widely used by healthcare providers, you don't need any formal training to attend the workshop—anyone can learn and use the ASIST model. ASIST is the most widely used, acclaimed, and researched suicide intervention training workshop in the world.
