Business Administration Post-Diploma Certificate
The Business Administration Post-Diploma Certificate is for students who have a post-secondary credential (a diploma or bachelor’s degree) and are looking for career-focused education and experience. This program is ideal for mature students interested in a new career as well as International students looking to enhance and focus their career-ready skills in an international setting.
All students will learn fundamental business concepts in legal relations and business communications. In addition to completing these core business courses, students will have the opportunity to customize their certificate based on their career goals by selecting business electives from various specialization areas, including financial planning, marketing, and human resources management.
The program will be offered at the Northwestern Polytechnic Grande Prairie campus using face-to-face, online, and blended delivery. The Work Integrated Learning components may be completed off-campus within an industry, community, or government environment.
Admission to the Business Administration Post-Diploma Certificate program requires successful completion of a two-year diploma program based on the following criteria:
- Complete a minimum of 60 credits earning a Diploma with a minimum 1.7 cumulative GPA (60% or C-)
The maximum number of credits awarded through Advanced Standing must not exceed 50% (15 credits) of the curriculum credits for the BA Post-Diploma Certificate program.
Progression Criteria for NWP programs is currently under review.
To receive a Business Administration Post-Diploma Certificate, students must successfully complete all requirements of a specific BA Post-Diploma Certificate curriculum.
