Mezzo-soprano, Kristina Alexander-Luna, has her Masters in Voice Performance from the University of Ottawa, an Advanced Certificate in Performance and Doctor of Musical Arts in Voice Performance and Pedagogy from the University of Toronto. Her research focused on the Song repertoire for mezzo-soprano voice and piano by Canadian composer, Violet Archer.
As a voice teacher, Kristina loves to encourage and instill confidence in her students, as well as giving them opportunities to grow as expressive communicators and versatile singers through performance of all styles and genres. Kristina is a member of ARMTA (Alberta Registered Music Teachers Association), NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing), and CAEA (Canadian Actors Equity Association).
Currently an Instructor of Voice and Choir at Northwestern Polytechnic in Grande Prairie, Kristina hopes to continue growing as a performer, conductor, and educator.
