Description

This course builds upon learners’ fundamental skills and knowledge, introducing learners to more complex skills and restricted activities. Throughout the course, learners will gain an understanding of their legal and ethical responsibilities as HCAs related to complex skills and restricted activities. This comprehensive approach aims to foster greater awareness, competence, and confidence, enabling learners to provide high-quality client care.



Requisites

  • Complete All of the following:
    • Complete the following:
      • HC1010 Roles and Responsibilities of an HCA 3
      • HC1020 Health Across the Lifespan 3
      • HC1030 Communication and Collaborative Care 4
      • HC1040 Fundamentals of Providing Safe, Person-Centred Care 5
      • HC1050 Introduction to Clinical Practice 3
    • A minimum grade of B- (70%) in the above courses.

  • Complete the following:
    • HC1070 Comprehensive Care Strategies for Diverse Client Needs 5
