Description In this course, students will develop their knowledge of Indigenous peoples’ histories, educational experiences and knowledge systems, and will further develop their understanding of the significant connections between such knowledge and the professional roles and obligations of teachers. The course will prepare pre-service teachers to implement Indigenous knowledge, and gain understanding about Ways of Knowing and traditions, including land-based teachings and practices from traditional knowledge holders.
