Description

This course provides students with knowledge and skills required to provide care to special populations within the context of PCP practice. Obstetrics, neonates, pediatrics and geriatrics are the major focus of this course with competency attainment at the level of proficiency during the mandatory on-site labs.

  • Complete All of the following:
    • Complete the following:
      • EM1020 Paramedic Foundations I 6
    • A minimum grade of B- (70-72%) in the above course

  • Completed or concurrently enrolled in:
    • EM1600 Personal Health and Wellness 3
    • EM2020 Paramedic Foundations II 6
    • EM2300 Pharmacotherapeutics for Health Professionals 3
    • EM2500 Professional Paramedics 3
    • WR1100 Communications for Health Professionals 3
