Description

The major concepts to be covered in this course include: momentum and impulse; electric forces and fields; current electricity; magnetic forces and fields; electromagnetic radiation (light); and atomic physics. Problem solving is highly emphasized throughout the course.

    • Complete the following:
      • PC0120 Physics Grade 11 Equivalent 5
    • Complete 1 of the following:
      • MA0120 Mathematics 20-1 Equivalent 5
      • MA0122 Mathematics 20-2 Equivalent 5
    • A student may register in PC0130 if they have successfully completed one of Mathematics 20-1, Mathematics 20-2, or equivalent and Physics 20 (or equivalent) within the previous five years or with permission of the department chairperson and/or instructor.
