Description This course provides foundational skills for students in conducting social work research with an emphasis on concepts, methodologies, and critical assessment. The course prepares students to engage with policy and research processes that promote equity, accessibility, and social justice in collaboration with marginalized and equity-deserving communities. Students will also reflect on subjectivity, ethics, and the power dynamics involved in policy and research and how that shapes their practice.
