Description This course introduces students to the field of early learning and child care. Students will observe and interact with children in a variety of early childhood community programs and will contrast the similarities and differences in environments, program practices and services provided for young children and their families. Students will attend weekly seminars throughout the practicum weeks. Notes Number of practicum weeks and the structure of the practicum may be adjusted for online and part-time students based upon practicum placement and student needs. Please note that some ELCC/EA courses are condensed in the winter term, leading to varying lengths for both on-campus and EC courses. For specific scheduling details, refer to the Timetable Search.
