To mark the United Nations' 16 Days of Activism, Mental Health Services is hosting an empowering self-defence seminar led by Renshi Stephan Roy, a 3rd-degree black belt in Mugen Budo Ju Jutsu and a Brazilian Jiu Jitsu black belt. This seminar provides a safe space to learn practical safety skills while building confidence, setting boundaries, and feeling a sense of belonging.

Let's be clear: sexual and gender-based violence is never your fault. This seminar is about giving you practical tools to feel more confident and empowered in your daily life. Learn boundary-setting skills and self-defence techniques in a supportive space designed for people of all identities and abilities.

More About 16 Days of Activism

This initiative is an international campaign that runs from November 25 (International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women) to December 10 (Human Rights Day), uniting activists worldwide to call for an end to all forms of gender-based violence.
