Breadcrumb About Events Recovery Ally Training Mental Health LOCATION Virtual Share The Recovery Ally Training is a two-hour interactive session designed for post-secondary campus and community members seeking to better understand addiction and recovery through an all-pathways approach. This training explores different models of addiction, the various ways individuals find and sustain recovery, and the concept of Recovery Capital, which includes the personal, social, and community resources that support long-term recovery. Event Details Date: March 18 Time: 5:00 - 7:00 pm Location: Virtual (Zoom) Learning Outcomes & Discussion Material Participants will also discuss stigma and bias, their impact on people in recovery, and the role of collegiate recovery programs in creating supportive environments on campus. By the end of the session, attendees will be equipped with the knowledge and tools to be effective recovery allies, helping to foster a more inclusive and recovery-friendly campus culture.
