Elderbeary Day - Bring Your Grandparent to NWP

Honour the Elders and Seniors in our community by bringing your grandparents to NWP for an appreciation event featuring a free Pancake Breakfast and interactive community resource tables. 

This event is open to NWP students, staff, faculty, and the broader community. It is a great way to show you care by spending time visiting and listening to Elders from across our community.

The breakfast is kindly provided by NWP Indigenous Services and our friends from Ovintiv.

What is Elderbeary Day

Elderbeary Day is an event initiated by the First Nations Child and Family Caring Society, which honours and celebrates the contributions of our Elders, who do so much to teach and raise our little ones. Celebrate by thanking your Elders for all that they do for you and for your community in ways that you believe best represent how much you care.
