Research Integrity Workshop

Faculty, staff, and students are invited to join a Research Integrity Workshop, presented by Sivagowry Lewis, Dean of Applied Research and Innovation! 

In this workshop, we’ll explore:

• What is Research Integrity? A practical look at what research integrity means and what good research practice looks like throughout the full research lifecycle—from the initial idea and project design through research conduct and dissemination.
• The Core Pillars of Research Integrity. We’ll explore the principles that guide responsible research, including honesty, rigour, transparency, care and respect, accountability, and inclusivity.
• Why Research Integrity Matters. Research integrity helps protect research participants, animals, data and the research record; supports research excellence and public trust; and helps researchers identify and manage risks throughout their work.

We’ll also touch on practical areas including research ethics, research data management, research security and responsible research conduct.

Whether you’re new to research or an experienced researcher, this workshop is an opportunity to strengthen our shared research culture and support high-quality, responsible and impactful research at NWP.
