From future teachers bridging theory and practice at the front of the classroom to student-led business evaluation and strategy development for local entrepreneurs, we have access to reliable partners and important business networks that provide meaningful opportunities for students to apply their knowledge in real-world settings.Partnership Spotlight Student-Led Inititatives Hands-on learning is an important part of the NWP experience. From project conceptualization and planning to implementation and evaluation, our students gain valuable skills and knowledge through group projects that mimic real-world scenarios. Career Closet The Career Closet is a student-led initiative held every other Winter Semester. It's a free resource offering students and community members professional attire for interviews, career fairs, and other professional events. Would you like to support this initiative? NWP Student Business Conference The Student Business Conference is a student-run event held every other Winter Semester. It's an event that gives NWP’s future business leaders an opportunity to learn from local captains of industry and network with professionals and potential employers. The Conference also allows businesses to connect with emerging talent, share knowledge, and build relationships that bridge the gap between education and industry. With a keynote speaker, catered lunch, and engaging breakout sessions, this networking event aims to provide practical knowledge, industry insights, and valuable contacts to help students start their careers.
