About the Program

The Centre collaborates with NWP's Early Learning and Child Care diploma program. Our educators regularly consult with NWP faculty to ensure our practices are aligned with the latest research in childhood learning and development. Students from the program complete practicum placements under the guidance of our experienced educators, bringing fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to our centre. 

Students first spend time observing and learning from day care educators, and then are tasked with planning and leading group activities with the children under the educator's supervision.

Guided by Alberta’s Early Childhood Curriculum Framework, the centre offers a nurturing, play-based environment that supports developmental learning and care.

  • Monday through Thursdays
  • 9:00 to 11:30 a.m. or 1:00 to 3:30 p.m.
