Breadcrumb About News Watson Joins the Wolfpack Posted 30 June, 2021 Athletics News Share Recruitment season is kicking off for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves as Head Coach, Evan Lloyd adds a player to his men’s basketball roster. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. The newest recruit to the team is Sampson Watson. Hailing from Salmo, British Columbia, Watson is looking forward to joining the wolfpack and starting his degree. “I chose GPRC because of the many possibilities in the kinesiology field,” said Watson. “Having that and a good basketball team is an amazing thing to have.” Watson led his high school in rebounds and points during his 2020 season. In his upcoming rookie season, Watson is looking forward to the connections he’s about to make. “I am most excited to play and to get the chance to get to know my team and my community.” Head Coach, Evan Lloyd is thrilled to add Watson to the roster. "Sampson is an exciting addition to our program. He adds length in a position of need for us. His work ethic will allow him to develop in our program. The coaching staff is excited to work with him for this season.” Welcome to the pack, Sampson.
