Breadcrumb About News Nasim Joins the Men's Basketball Roster Posted 24 August, 2021 Athletics News Share Recruitment season is underway for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves as Head Coach, Evan Lloyd adds a player to his men’s basketball roster. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. The newest recruit to the team is Shak Nasim. Hailing from Victoria, British Columbia, Nasim is looking forward to joining the wolfpack and starting his journey at GPRC. “I chose GPRC because I think it'll be the best fit for me to perform my best on the court and in school, as well as a great relationship with Coach Lloyd." Nasim is bringing a ton of great experience to the Wolves, including in 2017 playing for U17 Vikes Nation and being the Adidas BC Top 40 Camp Selectee. In 2018, he played for Claremont Secondary and achieved the team's first time as a colonist all city. Finally, in 2020, he played for the Camosun College Men's Basketball team. In his upcoming rookie season, Nasim is looking forward to the connections he’s about to make. “I am most excited to get out there and complete. I am looking forward to seeing the campus and meeting all my new teammates." Head Coach, Evan Lloyd is thrilled to add Nasim to the roster. “Shak is a speedy guard with solid work ethic. His experience will be relied upon this coming season for the squad. We are excited to have him join the program." Welcome to the pack, Shak.
