Breadcrumb About News Wolves Men's Soccer welcomes Whitby Posted 25 January, 2022 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2021-22 GPRC Wolves Men’s Soccer team. GPRC is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through its priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to continue to add recruits to the roster. Meet Sean Whitby. Hailing from Grande Prairie, Alberta, Whitby is looking forward to staying close to home as he starts his post-secondary journey. “Being from Grande Prairie, I believe choosing GPRC was the best option to not only continue my development as a player, but also as a person.” In 2016, Whitby played in the Alberta Summer Games with Zone 8. In 2019, he headed to Tier 2 Alberta Provincials with GP United. Whitby is looking forward to his upcoming rookie season. “I’m excited to continue playing the sport I love.” Head Coach, Chris Morgan is pleased to add Whitby to his roster. “I am blessed to have witnessed the development of Sean closely through The Academy and Swan City FC,” he said. “Sean is a technical midfield player who shows good awareness and a varied passing range. We are delighted he has committed to our Wolves Soccer program to continue his development.” Welcome to the pack, Sean.
