Breadcrumb About News Steel, Newest Addition to MVB Roster Posted 29 April, 2022 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2022-23 NWP Wolves Men’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Sam Tu'ivai is excited to add recruits to the roster. Say hello to Brandon Steel. Hailing from Prince George, British Columbia, Steel is looking forward to attending NWP and carrying on a family tradition. “I chose NWP because I am familiar with Grande Prairie as my sister attended NWP on the women’s basketball team.” Steel brought home Elementary and High School Athlete of the Year Awards and was named Sr. Zones First Team All-Star. In his upcoming rookie season, Steel is looking forward joining the wolfpack and “getting to meet the team and players outside of the court,” he said. “As well as being able to contribute to the team on and off the court.” Head Coach, Sam Tu'ivai is pleased to add Steel to the roster. “Brandon is physical and has great skills that will be a great asset to our program’s vision and goals,” said Tu’ivai. “Brandon’s competitiveness and attitude on the court are contagious.
