Breadcrumb About News Talavera Joins Women's Basketball Roster Posted 17 February, 2023 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to add recruits to the roster. Say hello to Kim Talavera. Hailing from Binangonan, Rizal, Talavera is looking forward to embarking on a new chapter. With her, Talavera brings many years of experience to the Wolves team. In 2019 and 2021, the basketball team she played on won City League Finals. In 2023, she served as her high school senior basketball team’s captain. Choosing NWP was an easy choice for Talavera, as she can pursue her studies and play the sport she loves while remaining close to family and friends. In her rookie season with the Wolves, Talavera is looking forward to being able to play at a higher level of basketball and to have the opportunity to practice and play with people who have the same passion and goals as her.
