Breadcrumb About News Women’s Soccer adds McWhirter to the Team Posted 28 February, 2023 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Women’s Soccer team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Chris Morgan is excited to add recruits to the roster. Say hello to Rilei McWhirter. Joining the wolfpack all the way from Lake Country, British Columbia, McWhirter found the choice to attend NWP an easy one as the academic and athletic programs appealed to her. She is looking forward to learning from and playing with an incredible group of athletes and coaching staff. When asked, McWhirter explained that she is most excited about gaining more knowledge of the game in her rookie season with the Wolves. Head Coach Chris Morgan is pleased to welcome McWhirter to the program. "Rilei came on my radar at an FTF Showcase event in Victoria. She is a solid defender, reads offensive threats well and is a technical player,” said Morgan. “I am confident Rilei will have an impact as a first-year player on the program and we look forward to facilitating her development as a person and as a player."
