Breadcrumb About News WBB welcomes Kramps to the team Posted 18 April, 2023 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-2024 NWP Wolves Women’s Basketball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Bill Bradley is excited to add recruits to the roster. Meet Abigail Kramps, a multi-talented athlete from Spruce Grove, Alberta, who is excited to join the Wolves Women’s Basketball team for the upcoming year. Kramps brings with her an impressive athletic resume, including being a 2023 Bronze Medalist in 3A Basketball Provincials and the 2023 Volleyball Metro Champions. She was also named Athlete of the Month in 2023 at St. Peter the Apostle High School and Athlete of the Year in 2019 at St. Thomas Aquinas School. When asked why she chose NWP, Kramps highlighted the supportive environment of the sports team and school as a whole, stating, “It is surrounded around growth and has many support resources to achieve individual goals.” In her rookie year, Kramps is most excited to develop her offense and grow to better her team. She describes herself as a very outgoing and encouraging player who becomes more supportive in high-pressure situations.
