Gabler added to MVB Roster

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Men's Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Ron Thomson is excited to add recruits to the roster.

Meet Anders Gabler a multi-talented athlete from Bezanson, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Men's Volleyball team for the upcoming year.

Gabler brings with him an impressive athletic resume, including winning the 2022 ASAA 3A Silver Medal and the 2023 u16 D2 Gold at Volleyball Alberta provincials.  

When asked why he chose NWP, Gabler explained that the Wolves Is a team that he grew up watching and he Is excited to play for them. 

In his rookie year, Gabler is most excited about getting to know his team better and playing home games. 

Head Coach Ron Thomson is excited to work with Gabler, adding, “Anders will be a great addition to the program. He will bring some good size and athleticism. Anders Is a great student and looks to be a good teammate".
