Breadcrumb About News Steinke joins the Wolfpack Posted 23 May, 2024 Athletics News Share Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2024-2025 NWP Wolves Cross Country Running team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach Christopher Nelissen is excited to add recruits to the roster. Meet Flora Steinke, a dedicated, and outgoing athlete from Grande Prairie, Alberta who is excited to join the Wolves Cross Country Running team for the upcoming year. Steinke brings with her an impressive athletic resume, including the fact that her two older sisters have ran on the team at NWP. When asked why she chose NWP, Steinke explained that she is from Grande Prairie and “I am excited to play for my hometown while finishing the first year of my degree." In her rookie year, Steinke is most excited for "starting my college life and creating new relationships." Head Coach Christopher Nelissen is excited to work with Steinke, adding, “We’re excited to add Flora to the pack. She is a dedicated, and outgoing athlete. Welcome Flora!" Welcome to the pack, Flora.
