Description Students will broaden their understanding of equity, diversity and inclusion in K-12 classrooms. Fostering belonging, social justice, and culturally responsive learning environments will be a focus of study to prepare students for supporting diverse learners. Students will deepen their understanding of child development and theories of teaching and learning. Neurodiversity and exceptionalities that affect behaviour and learning will be examined alongside practical considerations for educators in K-12 contexts. Students will be equipped with awareness and strategies to communicate and collaborate in support of all learners. Notes This course is available for Bachelor of Education students only.
