Description A close study of historically representative works which demonstrate the development, enlargement and experimentalism of literature in English, with some class time devoted to writing instruction. Notes Students may take EN1000 to fulfill requirements for most programs that specify 6 credits of first year or Junior English. Normally, no more than 6 credits of first year English or equivalent may be taken for credit. This is a two-term course offered over fall/winter terms. It is identifiable in the Schedule of Courses (Timetable) with a Part A and a Part B. Students must register in both the Part A and the Part B of all types of sections offered (sections, labs, seminars, etc.) for this course.
