Description An introductory Spanish course for students with no previous knowledge of the language. Students will be introduced to listening, speaking, reading and writing in Spanish. Students will learn basic vocabulary, common expressions for conversation and simple sentence structures, including how to ask questions and how to answer them in the present, the future and the past. The lab will emphasize pronunciation and comprehension practice, and reading and oral expression. Notes Not to be taken by students with native or near native proficiency or those for whom Spanish is their first language; or by students with credit in Spanish 20 or its equivalent.
