Description This introductory course in psychopharmacology focuses on the groups of psychotropic drugs used in the treatment of psychological disorders. This course provides students the foundational knowledge of topics in clinical psychopharmacology including psychotropic drugs and their impact on neurotransmitters and hormones, the side-effect of psychotropic drugs, the short- and long-term consequences of the use of psychotropic drugs, and the clinical efficacy of the effect of psychotropic drugs on various mental disorders.
