Description This course is an introduction to the various conditions that exist within a neurodiverse population within a school setting. This will include autism spectrum disorder, fetal alcohol spectrum disorder, attention deficit hyperactivity disorder, emotional and behavioral disorders, communication disorders, auditory and visual impairments, multiple and severe disabilities, physical disabilities, and giftedness. Students will learn about diagnosis, risk factors, signs and symptoms, and strategies used in school settings.
