University Transfer Admission Admission requirements for university transfer programs include: English 30-1 and four grade 12 subjects, as specified by the chosen program. Normally, the program will require a minimum overall average of 60 percent. If applicants have a mark of less than 50 percent on a high school course, that course will not be considered for admission. Having the minimum admission requirements for entry into Northwestern Polytechnic's university transfer programs does not guarantee applicant acceptance. Admission to partner universities varies from program to program and will be evaluated at the time of application. CLASSIFICATION OF ALBERTA EDUCATION COURSES: Grade 12-level subjects required for admission have been grouped according to the classification of Alberta Education courses. A minimum grade of 50 percent in each course and a minimum overall average of 60 percent. Placement assessments may be required. Out-of-Province Student Admission Admission requirements for out-of-province students include completion of high school and presentation of the equivalents of the Alberta Education high school subjects required for admission to the chosen program.Your application to a program will be considered if you meet the admission requirements described in the Admissions section of the Academic Calendar.
