NWP Cares About Your Mental Health

At NWP, we understand that it's okay to not be okay. That's why we offer several supports and services that our students can access to help overcome challenges that may affect them during their time here.

An Ever-growing Event

Created and implemented in 2015 by the SAIT Trojans Outreach Program, Make Some Noise for Mental Health has grown into an ACAC conference-wide awareness campaign to break mental health stigmas. By involving student-athletes, Make Some Noise for Mental Health is intended to encourage empathy, understanding and open-mindedness, while promoting the resources and supports available on campuses and in communities.

NWP is proud to continue to be a part of this award-winning campaign, which in 2016 expanded to include the 17 ACAC member institutions and 11 communities. This year, the ACAC and Canadian Mental Health Association (CMHA) Alberta Division are excited to team up with RBC for the third year in a row, as the Make Some Noise for Mental Health presenting sponsor.
