Parts technicians are in high demand in north/central Alberta, and the skills obtained in this course are highly sought after by prospective employers. Duties and responsibilities include dispensing parts inventories, and stock handling, identifying and cataloguing parts and assemblies, ordering, receiving, inspecting, sorting, or pricing and selling parts.

Get the Green Light for Registration

Before you apply to be an apprentice or register for classroom instruction, you must meet Apprenticeship and Industry Training eligibility and the following minimum education entrance requirements:

  • English 10-2
  • Math 10-3

OR

A pass mark in all five Canadian General Educational Development (GED) or Canadian Adult Education Credential (CAEC) tests.

OR

Alberta Apprenticeship and Industry Training entrance exam.
