Description The course provides: an application of statistical methods to psychological problems; description of data in terms of averages, measures of variability and measures of relationships; correlation and regression; problems of sampling theory and statistical tests of hypothesis, covering both quantitative and qualitative perspectives. Greater emphasis will be placed upon understanding the relevant principles than upon performing the mathematical calculations.
