Shared Understanding

NWP is committed to empowering our learning community by creating an inclusive campus environment that honours Indigenous traditions, languages, and worldviews.

Through regular community engagement and our Indigenous Advisory Council, we actively seek out meaningful contributions from impactful voices who can help guide the development of student services, curriculum processes, Wolfpack education, and policy and planning. Through genuine collaboration and shared growth, we are creating a powerful narrative of progress, resilience, and success.

Wear Your Orange Shirt

Each year, on September 30, NWP observes the National Day for Truth and Reconciliation, also known to some as Orange Shirt Day.

This is a time for all Canadians to come together in honour of those who did not make it home, and to listen and learn from survivors, families, and communities about the impact of residential schools.
