Trades and Technology Camp
The Trades & Technology Camp gives students in Grades 9 - 12, the chance to explore trades and technology training opportunities at Northwestern Polytechnic. It is a fun way of experiencing a potential career path in the trades. There are over 50 Apprenticeship trades currently operating within Alberta and this camp offers insight into the work trades do, and how they work together toward a common goal.
Each student gets hands-on practice in three areas of their choice, as well as an information session about the Register Apprenticeship Program, provided by Careers: The Next Generation. Sessions cover programs like;

- Instrumentation
- Machinist/Millwright
- Parts Technician
