Certified Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Testing

Northwestern Polytechnic is a Certified Canadian Welding Bureau (CWB) Testing Facility. If you are a welder or welding apprentice, you can make arrangements for testing at NWP.

All welders working for a certified company must be qualified by the CWB under W47.1. This is a practical test that needs to be renewed every two years. The practical test ensures that the welder is competent in welding in the given process and position that is tested.
