Every step tells a story - and you’re invited to take part in one that celebrates tradition, identity, and community.

Rock Your Mocs is a global movement that celebrates Indigenous pride and culture. It’s a chance to walk with purpose, honour tradition, and stand in solidarity - just by what you wear on your feet (or the colour you choose).

NWP Indigenous Services invites all students, staff and community members to join them and step into something meaningful!

How to Join in:

  • Wear your moccasins, mukluks, kamiit, or lii sooyii moo
  • Or show your support by wearing turquoise if you don’t have mocs
  • Be in our group photo! Grande Prairie students, staff, and faculty are invited to meet us at 11:30 am in Room B205 (the On-Campus Friendship Centre) for a photo of our mocs.
