By recommendation of the Fine Arts Music faculty, to a student based on the quality of their audition into their first year as a music major in a music program.

Criteria

Available to a first year student enrolled in MU1250 majoring in voice, piano, winds, brass, percussion, or guitar with a minimum GPA of 2.7. Faculty will nominate a student who demonstrates outstanding achievement, dedication and work ethic in their applied studies and/or has made the greatest significant growth in their musicianship skills in the first year of study. Recipient must be continuing full-time in the Bachelor of Music or Music program at NWP in the following year.
