Indigenous Services

Collective Voices

The Circle of Indigenous Students (CIS) is an Indigenous student group that supports Indigenous students through cultural and social events. This group proudly serves our Wolfpack by embracing, celebrating, and facilitating activities that encompass Indigenous culture and ways of knowing, including:

  • Monthly meetings
  • Sharing/talking circles
  • Elder visits
  • Student and family events
  • Annual graduation celebrations

Talking Circles

Students and staff are invited to participate in Talking Circles several times each semester. These groups explore topics such as coping with loneliness and stress, career options, self-esteem building, and transitioning into student life at Northwestern Polytechnic.
