Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre

Bold Performances. Big Possibilities.

The Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre opened its doors for its first public performance on June 10th, 1976. Designed by world-renowned architect, Douglas Cardinal, this beautiful proscenium-thrust theatre has hosted a wide variety of local community groups, keynote speakers, musical performances, theatrical performances and recitals.

Since that time, the theatre has undergone numerous changes, including a major restoration project and a renaming in 2005. The Douglas J. Cardinal Performing Arts Centre now has 508 seats within a beautifully unique performance venue.
