Description

This course provides students with knowledge and skills required to provide care to special populations within the context of PCP practice. Obstetrics, neonates, pediatrics and geriatrics are the major focus of this course with competency attainment at the level of proficiency during the mandatory on-site labs.

Requisites

  • Complete All of the following:
    • A minimum grade of B- (70-72%) in the above course
    • Complete the following:
      • EM1020 - Paramedic Foundations I (6)

    • Completed or concurrently enrolled in:
      • EM1600 - Personal Health and Wellness (3)
      • EM2020 - Paramedic Foundations II (6)
      • EM2200 - Physiology II (3)
      • EM2500 - Professional Paramedics (3)
