More About Mandy
As a NWP alumni, Mandy worked in the welding industry for 10 years prior to joining the NWP faculty in 2021. She is a red seal journeyman welder with a previous background in healthcare & fitness. During her welding career she was a lead hand who brought a new product line to the shop she worked at. During this time Mandy was also heavily involved in apprenticeship training and the RAP program.
Some of the programs she is proud to be involved in outside of AIT are: Mind over metal camps, Alberta regional skills competition and women of steel.
 Outside of work Mandy is an avid fitness enthusiast who also loves trying new things. She enjoys spending time with her family and traveling the world, as well as reading.
