Academic Records & Registration (Registrar)
Once you have been admitted to your program, the next step is to register in your courses. The Registration staff will assist you through the registration process, and can help you find courses at times that are convenient for your schedule.
In 2022-23, Northwestern Polytechnic will deliver courses in three different ways:
- On-campus (face-to-face) - This type of course will be delivered on campus in a specific location which will be indicated on the student timetable. Students are expected to fully attend in person.
- Asynchronous (online) - This type of course will be delivered online through NWP’s learning management system. There are no set class times and students attend remotely and asynchronously.
- Synchronous (remote) - This type of course will be delivered remotely through video-conferencing technologies (i.e. Zoom). There are set class times and students are expected to attend remote class sessions.
In addition, Registration staff coordinate the official timetable and final exam schedule, maintain student records and grades, process transcript requests and can help navigate internal policies. Transfer agreements with other post-secondary institutions are negotiated through this office.
We are here to help you! If you have any questions regarding your registration, timetable or exam timetable, grades, transcripts, or eligibility to graduate, please don't hesitate to reach out to us.
