GPRC Athletics is pleased to announce that Chris Morgan is assuming the position of Head Coach for GPRC Wolves Women’s and Men’s Soccer teams.
Morgan is bringing 10 years of coaching experience to GPRC’s soccer program, including 8 years of coaching internationally in the Carryduff Colts Soccer Club in Belfast, Northern Ireland.
For the last 2 years, Morgan has been busy assuming multiple head coach roles, while upholding the titles of Learning Facilitator for Alberta Soccer Association and Technical Director for Fort St. John Soccer Club in BC.
“We are excited to have Chris Morgan’s vast coaching experience and believe he’ll offer valuable teachings to our athletes,” says GPRC Athletics Director François Fournier. “We believe his personality and philosophy on the field will make a great addition into our Wolves culture and we are confident our program will continue to grow and succeed with him as Head Coach.”
“Coaching at GPRC is an honour and privilege,” says Morgan. “After meeting with the GPRC Athletic staff, it was clear to me they reflected a great passion and belief in their program and that is something I’m excited to be a part of. I am humbled by their continued warmth and hospitality and am just really looking forward to getting the season underway.”
Wolves Athletics is looking forward to the coaching skills and energy Morgan will bring to the program.
“It is with great joy that I can represent my Northern Ireland home and family here in Alberta,” says Morgan. “I look forward to playing my part of representing GPRC Wolves Athletics and am excited to build on the continued development and success of the soccer program.”
