Future Wolves hall-of-famer Kyle Reynolds makes a triumphant return to GPRC cross country running in 2017, after a decade-plus hiatus.
Some still remember that fresh-faced boy of 18 with the long flowing locks who shocked the entire CCAA in 2004 by winning the National Championship race in Edmonton in a dramatic final 100m sprint with Augustana’s Carl Skinstead. Reynolds is the only Wolves male athlete in any sport ever to win a CCAA gold medal.
Fast forward 13 years and a somewhat older, and balder, Reynolds may have a lost a step or two, but he remains focused on helping the Wolves men’s team achieve a top 15 ranking this year in the CCAA. His experience and proven leadership skills are greatly respected by his much younger teammates.
Reynolds is a 2nd year Nursing student. His greatest career aspiration is to be able to help assist coaches Corcoran and Scott as they age gracefully and require geriatric care.
