Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-24 NWP Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Arika Pullishy.
Joining the wolf-pack from Spirit River, Alberta, Pullishy is bringing many years of experience to the Wolves Women’s Volleyball team.
Most recently, Pullishy's previous team won the 2022 Provincials Division 2 Bronze medal, and in 2021 Pullishy was the recipient of the High School Renegade Award. In 2020, Pullishy was celebrated as the Winter Games Volleyball Athlete.
Pullishy chose NWP as her school of choice based on our strong academic programming. Overall, Pullishy believes that NWP was the perfect choice for her as it allows her to continue to play the sport she loves while pursuing her post-secondary studies.
In her upcoming rookie season, Pullishy is looking forward to playing volleyball at a higher level. She also looks forward to connecting with other players who are passionate about the sport and learning from experienced people.
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to welcome Pullishy to the team.
“Arika is a motivated and passionate young athlete who is dedicated to improving her game,” said Hale-Miller. “She already demonstrates the leadership qualities that we work towards in our program. I am excited to work with Arika and to see her game develop at the post-secondary level.”
Welcome to the pack, Arika.
