News Archives: Walde joins WVB roster
Tuesday, February 14th, 2023

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-24 NWP Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Natalie Walde.
Joining the wolf-pack from Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Walde is bringing many years of experience to the Wolves Women’s Volleyball team.
Most recently, Walde was the Mustang Volley Volleyball Tournament Spike contest winner in 2022. In the same year, her U17 team was the Club Volleyball Provincial Champions, and Walde was the High School Grade 11 Female Athlete of the Year and Senior Volleyball MVP.
Walde chose NWP as her school of choice because she wanted to play volleyball at a competitive level while working towards a degree in Kinesiology.
In her upcoming rookie season, Walde is looking forward to competing against other high-level teams and building new relationships with like-minded teammates. In her spare time, Walde enjoys baking and cooking (bagels are her specialty!) and crocheting.
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to welcome Walde to the team.
“I am excited to have her here. Walde is a positive addition to the team. She is a strong competitor,” said Hale-Miller. “I knew when I first met her that she would be great for us. I am happy she is joining the wolf pack!”
Welcome to the pack, Natalie.
