News Archives: MVB adds Long to the team

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-24 NWP Wolves Men’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. The wolf-pack is excited to add new recruits to the team.
Say hello to Esme Long.
Hailing all the way from Prince George, British Columbia, Long is excited to continue playing volleyball and training at an elite level. He expressed that he has heard great things about the NWP coaching staff, something he learned while training last spring In Camrose.
When asked about what he is most excited about in his rookie year, he explained that he can’t wait to continue to play the sport he loves while meeting new people.
Long's volleyball background is expansive, with most recently bringing home Bronze in the AA Boys Provincial Championship in 2022.
