Friday, May 5th, 2023

Recruitment season has kicked off for the 2023-24 NWP Wolves Women’s Volleyball team. Northwestern Polytechnic is pleased to welcome new athletes into inclusive post-secondary sports through the priority of delivering a unique student experience for every wolf-pack member. Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is excited to add recruits to the roster.
Say hello to Evangeline Zeyha.
Joining the wolf-pack as a Grande Prairie local, Evangeline Zeyha is bringing many years of experience to the Wolves Women’s Volleyball team.
Most recently, Zeyha won Gold at the 2023 Artic Winter Games. In 2022, she earned the 3A Provincial champions with St. John Paull II High School and in the same year, won Silver with U17 Team Alberta.
Zeyha chose NWP as her school of choice as it allows her to play the sport she loves while living in her home town. She added that NWP has a reputation for having great coaches and team members.
In her upcoming rookie season, Zeyha is excited to play a faster pace of ball and learn new things. She is also very excited to have a successful year while playing volleyball alongside her sister.
Head Coach, Lauren Hale-Miller is thrilled to welcome Zeyha to the team.
“Evangeline will be a great addition to our program. She will provide an immediate impact in our line up. I had the opportunity to coach Evangeline this past club season and it has been a wonderful experience,” said Hale-Miller. “I am excited to continue to help her develop her skills and knowledge of the game this upcoming season.”
Welcome to the pack, Evangeline.
